Local Market
Carry your water bottle everywhere you go. Print out some simple business cards with your phone number and website. Your local market is anyone who comes within 3 feet of you. People at the grocery store, workplace or restaurant.
Start a simple friendly conversation. Find out a bit about the person. People love to talk about themselves. What is your name? what do you do for a living? do you like sports? how many kids do you have?
It won't take long to figure out if you should approach the person about our health boosting product or lucrative business opportunity. Don't be a pushy sales type. Find out some information about the person and try to meet a need in their life.
Give the person a business card, but it's better to collect their card or information (e-mail or phone#). Don't count on them contacting you. follow up with the person within a day or two.
Don't be pushy or try to "sell" the person. Look for interested volunteers. Don't waste time trying to convince someone.
Remember, your local market can be where ever you are. If you travel, vacation or just walk around the neighborhood, your local market is close at hand. |
